My Fellow Man Alliance Houses The Homeless
My Fellow Man Alliance services have been developed to provide relevant intervention and prevention services to assist homeless individuals in becoming self-sufficient.
Homeless individuals may qualify for one of the following:
I. Lease Bed Program:
My Fellow Man Alliance has contracted 25 personal care homes (with both Type A and B licensing), for use by homeless individuals with an identified need. These beds are 100% covered with no expense to the client. To be eligible for the Bed Lease Program clients must be Chronically Homeless which by definition is being homeless for more than 1 year or has had at least four episodes of homelessness in the past three years.
- Program Duration: 6 months to 1 year (based on individual need)
- Minimum age to participate in the Bed Lease Program is 25 years of age
- Clients are required to work with all resource partners assigned to them
- All clients must submit to random drug screenings
- Transportation available

II. Client Advocacy Services:
My Fellow Man Alliance’s Client advocates assist clients in ensuring their needs are being met.
- Health Care Professional (HCP) provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Health Centers (CMHC) and Day Programs are able to provide all levels of outpatient psychiatric and mental health services.
- Benefit Specialist assist clients in obtaining benefits such as medical insurance, SSI, prescriptions, food stamps, TANF, etc.
- Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Specialist assist in resume preparation and job placement
